Lately

I’ve been feeling alone

wondering where you’ve gone

missing past feelings that I kept from growing,

kept from showing

but I know i’ll find my way

i’ll climb out of this ditch

that I call loneliness

to seek for you out there

holding my hand out

waiting for yours 

to bring me to safety

but until then

I’ll be laying, praying, hopelessly saying
